Cian was the manager of Northern Ireland’s cultural contribution to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. He led Northern Ireland’s delivery of London 2012 Festival, a cultural programme supporting the Torch Relay in Northern Ireland and was a contributing producer to the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games.
He developed a £5million arts programme commissioning and presenting 50 new artworks across Northern Ireland involving 80 partners. The London 2012 Opening and Closing ceremonies reached billions globally and the London 2012 Festival in Northern Ireland engaged the participation of 40,000 members of the public and an audience attendance of 800,000 people.
